EXPERIENCE:
President/Owner, Melody's Ad Works, Inc. Melody
established the firm in 1989. It specializes in public relations, event promotions, and retail center promotions. Melody's Ad Works, Inc. is currently responsible for the marketing, public relations and media
buys of the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival, and event planning, public relations, media buying for Old Town Temecula events. She also consults with a number of firms in the valley, and assists non-profits
with their public relations needs pro-bono.
The firm has been nominated for business of the
year five times, and Melody has been nominated as citizen of the year for the city of Temecula five times. Additionally, she has won the Chairman's Choice award from the Chamber of Commerce, founded the TVCC's
strategic planning committee and building committee, started the process of the Convention and Visitors Bureau in 1998, and has served as the CRC Foundation President, TVCC Director for 12 years, Chairman of
the Board in 1998, director on the Theater Foundation since 1999, and founding member of the Hospice Orange County.
The firm has won awards in design, event planning and event marketing.

Prior to founding Melody's Ad Works, Inc.,
Melody Brunsting served as the General Manager, Sales Manager and Production Manager of the "Bargain Bulletin," a shopper that later sold to the Pennysaver. She also served as the Editor for The Butterfield
Bulletin, Community Woman in Orange County, and TV Digest in Los Angeles County. She was a contributing writer for the Gemco Courier and Fedco Reporter and has won awards in photo journalism and journalism from
the National Pen Women's Association.
WRITING:
Melody has written for a variety of
publications and advertising agencies since 1978. While attending college she wrote for Ad Service, a public relations firm in Orange County. There she edited and wrote travel brochures, newsletters for SolCat
industries, and the Music Teachers Association. She also wrote, edited and served as webmaster for a sports website titled "Girlstalksports.com" from 1998-2001. She is currently writing a sports romance novel and a
series of romance novelettes based in the Temecula Wine Country.
ARTIST:
A talent she discovered while planning
Temecula's Street Painting Festival, Melody has been painting for four years. She prefers either pastel or palette knife and oil media. Her paintings have been on display at the Temecula Valley Museum, Art Gallery
